I, possible I might be moving to public sector job from current private sector. part of definded contribution scheme here, current value is apporx 20k of which I own all of it as I am making contributions for more than 2 years so employers part is also mine.
I will be 30 soon, and as I don't want to have to work until 70(under the new civil service pension set-up) i am wondering what i should do? do i just leave the pension where it is for the next 35 years until i am 65 and make the odd AVC if I can afford it? Should I plan on trying to investigate the buying of service thing in the civil service if offered the chance?
