Sounds like a silly question i know but i haven't really noticed and i'm heading out dog-walking this evening so wondering if anyone has any idea?

Thanks Conshine! No dogs not so much afraid, more me not wanting to wandering a heavily wooded park in the dark on my own!

I wouldn't go there on my own at any time of the day or night..dogs or no dogs.

Unless of course you're a black belt karate champion, 6 ft plus and built like a rottweiler

I think we should see a stretch in the evenings from now on by about 10 minutes per week.

I expected it to be much brighter since Dec 21st, but it seems to be darker in the mornings than it used to be!!! (Mind you was off work over xmas, back in since Monday so perhaps my eyes have been unfocussed with shock the past two mornings).

It get's dark 27 minutes later in Galway than it does in Dublin

It also rains more here too - although it hasn't rained here since before Christmas
