What state is the M50 & M1 in at the moment?

My wife will have to drive on them tomorrow evening.

Anyone doing so today and what are conditions like?

The M50 was fine today. I'd say both roads are top of the NRA priority list and will be kept open.

Ha ha - for now, that is. The IMF will probably try to take them back and give them to Poland or something

You would think so but I'm hearing differing reports.

"Fine" meaning Purple just about manages it or actually fine - no serious problems ?

Fine as in one of our guys drove his 5-series around it an hour ago and he made it (Blanchardstown exit to Firhouse exit).

Just had a courier in from Belfast to Tallaght, he said the Red Cow is a bit iffy but rest was ok. Off ramps seem to be more of an issue rather then the motorway itself
