Just about to start roof on a self build, roof is about 300sqm with a few tricky dormers. Still undecided on slate, have looked into plastic slates from Athy Eco Slate but the fact that they are so new to the market i'm cautious of going with them.
I want a natural look to the slate, got a quote from slates direct also but have read some bad comments about their slates. I thinking of going with Tegral Thrutone Relief Slate which has a natural looking pattern on the front of them.
Anyone any other suggestions, i've gotten samples from Capco but not that interested in them due to the amount of grading which would have to be done and they are not as "black" as I would like.
