What Showers?

Hi can anyone advise me on which showers are the best to work off a tank.
Im totally confused as to how it all works?? Am i only allowed to have one electric shower in the house??

If you have a good supply of hot water from your immersion or your boiler, then you just need a power shower, which just pumps the water.
This can be either a regular shower with a separate pump or a combined unit.
If you need to heat the water then you need an electric shower, which has a pump and an instant water heater built in.
Your ESB supply can only cope with one electric shower at a time.
You can get a priority unit fitted which allows you to operate two showers, one at a time.

We find our power shower much better than the electric one, which is quite weak. We got a Redring thermostatic shower, which was much cheaper than the equivalent Triton, and find it great.
