What is this tube called

There is a small tube that goes from where the Thermostat is to somewhere futher into the enigne tube is about 5 inches, it has split so wondering what the name is, cheers nissan micra 98

if it is black rubber its called a hose,
if its silvery and aluminium, its called a pipe

is it the bottom hose from the radiator to the block?

Thanks guys, hose I just could not think of, anyway motor factors don't do hose's for car's that old, will contact scrap yards cheers

Ring the main delaer first, and get a price.

Might not be worth going to a scrap yard if the dealer price is reasonble enough.
