I think there are a range of products which may overlap - the below is from memory of personal experience.
- Personal loans up to €20,000 used to be dealt with at Branch level - not any more of course - with terms from one to three years
- Car loans usually ran from €10-€50,000 or so, depending on the make and model, with terms from three to five years
- Mortgages were for more significant loans, usually from €20,000 on up, with terms from 20 to 35 years.
I don't know that there is a minimum mortgage available below say €20,000.
That's the mind of figure you'd roll over from an overdraft into a loan account for better management.
