What is the best way to buy in Ireland as an ex-pat living abroad?

I will be taking up a job in the Carribean soon on a tax free salary, with accomodation and car allowance, and will therefore have a good income which I would like to do something with.

Who offers good deals on mortgages to ex-pats? What are the conditions on deposits/down-payments. Could anyone help me with the tax issues. I already own a few properties in Ireland.

what about the lenders you already give your business to? They may also haev a representative office in the country you are going to and the relationship may blossom all the more!
