What is the ACC bank variable rate?

I have looked on the ACC website and checked out the Best Buy section here and cant come up with the rates for their variable rate mortage , i am thinking of re-financing and it would be great to have the figures with me when i go rather than going in blind and make a fool of myself .

If they're not in the best buys list then they are probably not competitive so why would you refinance with them rather than moving to a more competitive lender?
 
I will be considering a tracker mortgage and ACC do not offer one except for one that is pension related, i will be looking for the best rate but that still does not answer the Question "What is the ACC bank variable rate?"
i dont have anything to compare the best buy list then i will run the figuers and see the savings that i can make
Dont you think that their rates should be published somewhere , what have they got to hide ? I looked on there website,simply morgages,and the irish independant archives and at least 20 other web pages and NOTHING

Called in to the branch today and found out the variable rate is 3.5% so i will take it from there .

they did not say , however they do not offer tracker morgages to individuals and i like the idea of a fixed cost base above the ECB rate .
 
It's important to get the APR when comparing loans across different providers as the nominal rate is pretty meaningless in this context.
 
It's equally important to get the cost per thousand repayable as you will often find the same apr's quoted and different amounts per thousand repayable.

Cost per thousand is a much more accurate reflection of loan repayment and much more "user friendly" in laymans terms
