My husband has recently become self-employed and owns his own truck. He never had a pension up until now and is considering one. He is 32.
What would be the best type of pension plan to go with and what companies are the best? I have a pension from work with my empoyer contributing to it but would also like my husband to have one.
Quinn Direct by a mile. Absolutely the best in terms of no commission and lowest annual fees.
A total of 1% p.a.
You will not beat that anywhere.
Fund [performance has been excellent also.
I invested €8000 this time last year in their Euro/Celtic and Biotech Fund and my current value after !% costs is in excess of €10,000. 25% return in one year - not bad eh!
You may not beat those charges, but I think that SPC100's investigations in this thread http://www.askaboutmoney.com/showthread.php?t=15981 show that you can certainly equal them if you use a discount broker (and get access to wider fund choices).
