What is the definition of a PPR? We are living abroad (in a rented apartment) and have been renting our house in Ireland out. We will no longer be renting the house come this summer as we want the use of the house ourselves. We'll be living in it for a couple of weeks every 2-3 months and having a family member stay there (rent free) for the rest of the time. As we're renting abroad would this be classed as our PPR? Thanks!

PPR is principal private residency. Self explanatory - its where you live most of the time. You can have only one PPR.

As you spend the bulk of your time in the rental property abroad, then this is your PPR. The fact that you may own a house elsewhere and use it from time to time is of no relevance - PPR is not linked to ownership.
