What info for invoice

I am getting small once off payment for someting I just do as a hobby. They want an invoice. It is just account number and sort code or does an invoice need IBAN and/or BIC

A few years ago I got a similar payment and I just invoiced with account and sort code. The company are legit and known to me.

It needs an IBAN

BIC not required

You IBAN will be on almost every bank document

You do not need an IBAN on an invoice - it is optional and is there to help the supplier pay you via a bank transfer

You need a unique invoice number, suppliers name, address and VAT number, your name and address and VAT registration number if registered for VAT, details of the goods and services supplied, price and VAT if applicable
