What happens when Illness benefit ends

I have been on Illness benefit for the past six months and I am wondering
if I am entitled to Job seekers benefit when it ends, I was in steady employment for 32 years paying stamp until recently when I got Ill and went on IB ? any replies would be appreciated

Illness benefit is paid for 2 years max. You would be eligible for jobseeker's benefit if you are available for and seeking work. If you are still ill, you can apply for invalidity pension or disability allowance.
