What effects can Redundancy have on obtaining State Retirement at 66.
If a person is made Redundant say 6 to 7 years before been eligible for State Pension and is unlikely to find work for those 6 to 7 years .If he meets all over the other criteria for the Pension can the fact that he has not worked in the 6 years prior to reaching 66 have any effect on obtaining State Pension.
