What does this NCT advisory mean?

The guy doing my NCT yesterday called me out to look at the underside of my car. I had no idea what I was looking at, but I took these two photos.

I didn't know what I was looking at but I am guessing it's not too serious if it's just an advisory. In other words, I passed the NCT.

He wrote down the following: Lower arm suspension bolt foremost not the same on the nearside.

Can anyone explain what it is and how urgently I need to get it fixed? Is it a big job or small job?

It looks like you are either missing a bolt on the offside (right hand side) lower suspension arm or that it’s a totally different bolt than the near side (left hand side) which might suggest it’s fallen out or wasn’t fitted properly?. The fittings should be the same

Did you get any suspension work done at all?

Might possibly affect steering slightly at some point. Best get it checked although as it’s an advisory it’s not urgent

Shouldn’t be a huge job if it’s a missing bolt but it might only come with the suspension kit in which case it may have to be replaced

Errmm for me both pics are different not sure what to make of them.

To hazard a guess the first pic looks more like an engine mount whereas the second looks more bushy.

To answer your question Brenadan nah its not a big job at all even if you have to replace the arm and bushes. As you said an advisory is just something to sort out no need to panic.
