what colour hob?

quick question for all you home-owners

if your counter tops are black but your cooker is stainless steel as is the extractor hood, should the hob be black or silver?
 
Stainless steel every time.

Easy to clean and provides a good contrast to the worktop.
 
As the cooker and extractor are stainless steel it would probably be a better match to stick with ss.
 
We have as you described, but its a black granite work top. Got a black hob with those flat buttons, looks great.
