What banks are lending right now?

Hi,

Does anyone know what banks are lending right now?

Our broker told us just three were - he also says he covers all lenders and I have no reason not to trust his word. I'm just being cautious about everything and double checking absolutely everything as although we are considering putting an offer on a house, we are still very nervous with the economy etc.

Banks I'm told are lending are:
BoI
AIB
IMM / Now KBC?

Any info much appreciated.

ps: some info as I'm sure your status applies when looking for a mortgage. Not FTB's but presently renting and ready to go. Our first property was not bought in Ireland so we are kind-of FTB's who have to pay stamp duty! One civil servant and one private employee, both is permanent 'safe' employment.
 
Thanks. Is EBS the same as Permanent TSB?

I'm now wondering did he mean just three Irish banks were lending...?

No EBS and PTSB are different from each other.

EBS definately are , I'm drawing down in a few weeks.:D

Brokers dont cover all Lenders. I am using one at present, and EBS and Ulster Bank dont deal with brokers. I have been approved with AIB, but EBS and Ulster are lending, and cant say for 100% but am sure B.O.I. are aswell.

EBS deal with some brokers.
