Wet pebble dash?

Hi- recently bought a house that is wet pebble dashed (old corpo house)- it's very patchy and needs re-doing.
I actually prefer the look of wet dash, and have put cream windows in with the view to painting the dash a nice colour to match
however, I'm hearing that wet pebble dash is not popular at all anymore- so I'm in a quandry as to what to do-
problem with dry dash is there are no colour schemes really that will match the cream windows.
anyone any advice on this?

I have just had wet dash done to the rear extension of my house, very happy with the result, actually looks better than the dashing on the old part of the house. We aged the white cement to match the old and left to partially set before applying to the walls, this stopped the dashing from running.

We considered drydashing the house, (more modern finish) however the stone on dry dashing will continue to fall off over the years and this will in turn leave the walls patchy in the long term.

Wet dash is popular. It's just that most plasterers don't like doing it. Very messy etc but the finish is long lasting, can be coloured to suit most houses and after it dries is far stronger than dry dash. Look around for a plasterer that doesn't mind doing this type of work, get dye for the mix and away you go. Make sure to check older work of the plasterer as you don't want a herring-bone effect.
