Westport for a hen weekend?

Anyone any views on Westport or Achill for a tame hen wkend. Looking for somewhere with nice restaurants and some good pubs.
Have heard Westport is good fun, any views? have never been

Had my stag down there during the winter. Had a great time. We (about ten of us) stayed in the Harbour Mill apartments, see http://www.theharbourmill.com/ for more info.

There's great nightlife to be had in town with a wide range of pubs and restaurants, we ate in Sol Rio? which was fairly cheap and cheerful but decent food - there are a couple of other places such as Quay Cottage, Lemon Peel and La Bella Vita which I have heard highly recommended. After your dinner there are two nightclubs you can visit!

have been to the harbour mill apts a number of times and had no problems, they are 1 mile from the town centres but there are loads of minivan taxis in westport so you shouldnt have to wait too long

Had my hen party there last year. Stayed in Harbour Mills Apts. Lovely! Il Vulcano is a lovely Italian restaurant there, reasonably priced.
