Westlodge Hotel - Bantry

Has anyone stayed in the Westlodge recently or know of anyone who did? I am thinking of booking a few days there for the family, 3 young kids, but the last time I was at a wedding there (3 years ago) it wasn't great. Has it been done up as they now seem to have a great kids club.

Honestly Christy I wouldnt recommend it. Try the Bantry Bay in town. I believe that they refurbished recently and you are in the heart of everything there

i know some one who stayed there recently and was dissapointed with overall service

Yes standards are not supposed to be high there plus the fact that its like being in a time warp. Staff I feel are not particularly helpful & seem to think they can act anyway as they know their jobs are safe.
