Welfare Payment Suspended

Hi all

Dunno can any 1 answer a question regarding a friend of mine. She is on one parent family payment and didnt receive payment last week. She rang Dept and they told her that "not known at that address" was on file. She immediately remembered that a form she had received from welfare at christmas but she had been waiting for a certificate of interest from her mortgage co. to include with the form. She has now sent the form and this documentation back to them.

Will this action reinstate her payment, does any 1 know?

It would be better for her to contatc them in person adn explain why she did not trespond to their letter before now. More than likely her claim will be reviewed by a visit to her address by an inspector before payment is reinstated.
