Hi all,
Myself and my wife to be are heading to Vegas on our honeymoon in September. We would love to do a helicopter tour of the grand canyon and hoover dam etc. it says on most tour websites that there is a weight restriction of 20 stones on average and that if you exceed this weight you will be made to pay an extra fare.
ha s anybody had any experience of this ????

p.s - I am just over 20 stone in weight but am tall and dont look it.

I see the words "on average". I think you should be able to make a persuasive case if your wife is safely under 20 stone.

Or you have time between now and September to work on a weight-reduction programme.

All aircraft, helicopters have a weight restriction. The heavier the passengers then less seats they can fill. One 24 stone person is two 12 stone people etc.

All I know is that when we did the chopper tour of the Grand
Canyon they weigh you to decide where to seat you!!By the way the tour is amazing - hope you enjoy it
