Weekend in Ennis

Myself and my girlfriend are hearding to Ennis for the long weekend - can anyone recommend things to do places to eat/drink etc - thanks.

Grat town to go to! Loads of good pubs. I love the Old Ground Hotel myself, bit of class about it.

Ditto re: the Old Ground...really nice. They usually have pretty good deals there too incl dinner etc. Apart from that can't comment....was on a stag and don't remember much!

Places to eat:
Seasons 52 (Parnell St) - good food, nice atmosphere
Thai Palace (Parnell St)
Jasmine Garden (Barrack St) - Chinese

Plenty of good pubs around town:
Cruises (Queens Hotel) is always a good bet. Baron McQ's, The Barge Rooms, Knox's, O'Keeffe's are also good.

Things to do in Clare region: Ennis Abbey, Bunratty Castle, Cliffs of Moher, Lahinch, The Burren, Lough Derg, Dromoland Castle. Ennis is also nice town to walk around on nice day - there is a nice river walk which should take about an hour.
