Week1/Month1 to Standard basis

Here's my situation...

I am currently contracting & paid by an umbrella company. Paid up to & inc Week 30 on 503L Standard basis. That contract finished, took 2 weeks off before starting the next contract.

First payslip (Week 33) in new contract (same umbrella co) paid as 503L Week1 & given new Employee Number in error.

By paying me on Week1/Month basis for Week 33 will I have paid too much tax?

Also, should I have received payslips for Weeks 31/32 with a relevant Tax rebate?

Week 1 Month 1 means that you are getting your credits and tax cut off points specified per week/month with no unused carried forward to next week or month. Whether or not you pay too much tax is dependant on your actual earnings. When and if this is sorted and you get put on Normal basis if in the acutal year it will correct itself. If it carries on till end of year you may have overpaid tax but as I said this is dependant on your actual earnings.
