Week 1 or Cumulative Tax

My son has recently started a new job with a UK based company and has moved from an Irish company.

The UK employer has asked is he
Week 1 or Cumulative ?
And
What PRSI class ?

He’s Class A.

But I’m not sure should he still be cumulative when starting new job.
Would new UK based employer have access to his contributions to date ?

Any insights would be appreciated.

UK company don't known what they are doing, if they are asking these questions.

If the company has registered has an Irish employer with revenue and has registered your son jobs then when they download the rpn(revenue payroll notification)/tax allowances , this Information is provided to them in order to operate payroll correctly
