Any ideas for a wedding present?

Something useful...

It has to go with a mate of mine on the plane to Oz

Cost isnt a major thing, say 100 - 300 E

Would it be possible to post the present to an address in Oz? Would save them the hassle of extra luggage. I think that some companies such as Waterford Crystal or Tara China will post it for you for a reasonable cost.
 
Irish linen table cloth and napkins - might be considered a bit old fashioned but I got this for a wedding pressie and love bringing them out on special occasions. Light weight and not bulky.
That's all I can think of at the mo.
 
You dont say which part of oz, but if it is Sydney, what about a voucher for the harbour bridge climb?
