we are getting married next year in Italy and took a trip over there last month to view churches and hotels. We met the wedding planner there (she was recommended by a fellow AAM.).
All went well and we have found out church and hotel. Our planner sent us the contracts for herself and the hotel.She requests the deposit for both by the end of November. No problem there but she wants the remainder of the reception fee paid up 45 days before the wedding .
What happens if we are not happy with what we get ? or the service is very poor or something goes wrong ?
Is asking to pay for the reception 45 days before the wedding the norm ?
