a daughter of a colleague at work is getting married and we would like to get her something as a present. it is a small wedding and none of us at work are invited so we dont want to spent too much. Any suggestions?

Something from newbridge silver - napkin ring's are reasonably priced and yet something that she'll use. Alternatively they've some serving utensils, knives, etc...

I'd be more likely to suggest a silver picture frame versus a digital one - but there's personal difference.

What about a newbridge silver wine opener? Nobody would buy one themselves but its great and looks great when you have company over.

Belleck have a lovely silver frame - €90 in Debehnams and it is lovely.

Two waterford (contemporary design) champagne flutes always goes down well - because everyone else thinks about getting them but never do. They are very sturdy and look great.

Hope it helps!

We got a Newbridge pen in a holder (think feather pen and inkwell style) - which was a lovely as we used it to sign the register and it even appears in our photos! It's a nice memento (sp?) of the day as well.

This is the link - hope it works!

House of Ireland on Nassau Street have lovely pewter goblets with different irish historical scenes on them like the Táin Bo, they're €40 per goblet. I bought them for a couple as an engagement present and they loved them.
