I am just starting a new build via direct labour. Would anyone know a good website that I can check approximate prices on raw materials e.g. 1,000 4" blocks, tonne 4" stones, soap bars, sewer pipes, etc. etc.
I want to ensure that I keep a fairly tight rein on my costs and rather than wait for the bill to come in in a months time with a list of prices, I would like to know every week roughly how much I am spending. I know I could ask on the phone when ordering but it's challenging and time consuming enough knowing what and when to order materials without having to list prices as well. Maybe I should ask though?
