Does anyone know if there is a website where you can input a registration number and it tells you the make of the car?

I'm sure I've come across it on a previous thread - just can't find it now!:(
Any helps that anyone could give would be appreciated - trying to catch out some fraudster!!

Thanx a mill - sorted me right out. Some nasty little man's been telling me lies and I've caught him out - ha ha!
