Hi there,
does anyone know if website grants are available?

I was first told about them when I approached web developers about setting up a website for me and they all advised me about this website grant.
I have been to every council, business enterprise and partnership that could possible have the grant, but when I ask them they are either "not in the budget" or I must pay the full amount myself and then I might be eligible.

Anyone been successful with a website grant?

Don't know about website grants, but if you're going to create a website that's more than a brochure type, you should look abroad for good prices.

I got a site built recently with a company in the UK who were/are very professional and the cost of building the site was a lot less for the exact same spec than what I was quoted by 4 web design companies here in Ireland.
 
Have a look . Note that EUGA is a commercial operation, but that site lists a load of grants available, including website grants for the ICT sector.
