Hi
A small group of us are bringing the kids over to the UK shortly for a day trip. Going out with AL and back with Ryanair.
Just want to find out if anyone has checked in online with kids for travelling to the UK. Only some of the kids have passports. As far as I can establish, the AL requirement for id is the same for both web check-in and desk check-in i.e. photo id is sufficient (licence will do - does not have to be passport) for travel to the UK an id is not required for under 16's. This differs I think to Ryanair who state that you most hold a current passport to check in online which rules out the kids who dont have a passport ! Am I reading this correctly ? I suppose what i am trying to ask is can kids who dont have a passport check in online with AL or RA (why didn't I just say that at the start ??)
