water leakage inside my car (BMW320d)

I noticed last week, car carpit on driver side (just under driver feets) was wet (car was parked for the whole day and it was raining for few hours), i was thinking that it might be from driver's side door and yesterday i was putting water on the door to see where it was coming from but could not find any leakage, any ideas????? and if i go to dealer how much it should cost
 
Two things to check firstly lift the bonnet and where the screen meets the body their is a water channel which carries the water to the sides and then drains through a hole, make sure that this hole is clear of leaves on both sides, if this is ok, there is a plastic membrane between the door frame and the door panel you will have to take the door panel off to see if the membrane is torn or come loose replace it if necessary it is a manufacturers part. hope this helps.
