water leak on avensis

Hi all,
There is water leaking into my car on the passenger side under the glove box area. The car is a toyota avensis mpv. What could be causing this? we found no visible leaks under the bonnet. The water was cold and clear. It was a good trickle following a swishing of water sound while we were driving. Engine not overheated either. Could this be the air conditioning system I wonder?

Any ideas appreciated, Thanks.
 
Ok thanks. I don't know about the windscreen...
On the drain we poured a kettle of cold water across the windscreen and none of that leaked through to the car.
It's definitely a leak on something
