I noticed water damage in the wall of my converted garage last night. the damage is at the join between the wall and the ceiling at the back of the house. I looked at the gutter, which would be at the level of the leak, and there was some blockage with leaves etc.
I dont really know how this would be constructed but could the water in the gutter flow back into the eaves and into the roof and ceiling and cause this damage? The construction is as follows: The roof of the garage is pitched and there is a utility room on the ground floor, a ceiling and a converted loft space above. The damage is under the ceiling of the utility only and there is none above in the loft space. THe gutter/eave would align with where the leak was. Thanks for any suggestions.
