Waste Disposal Systems

We are doing a new build at the moment and finalising the kitchen. Was thinking of putting in a waste disposal system in order to cut down on the amount of waste going into the bin on a weekly basis. Has anybody any experience of these? Are they troublesome? How well is the sewerage system able to cope? Any feed back appreciated...

To the best of my knowledge, none of the LA waste-treatment plants can cater with the ground-up food-waste produced by in-sink disposal systems.
