My washing machine refuses to spin; it starts the spin cycle but aborts it before it gets to full speed.

Is it worth getting repaired?

Can anyone recommend a repair person in South Co. Dublin?

Check to make sure there isn't anything blocked in the filter. Normally located at the front of the machine - see you user guide.
 
Depends on how old machine is, usually if more than 4/5 years you end up throwing good money after bad getting them repaired.
 
There is a washing machine repair shop on the Monastry Road in Clondalkin, I pass it every day, but cann't remember exact name. Never had to use it, so cann't comment on how good they are
