Washing machine problems - 11 months after purchase

We bought a Bosch washing machine on 4th January this year. I suspect it has been a bit iffy for the last while on the very short 15 minute cycle which we use a lot. Not draining or spinning. Half an hour ago it started making very strange noises. Not a good time - it has school shirts in it which are needed for tomorrow! I have started a 60 minute cycle and it's washing away.
I got it in DID. As far as I know it has a full 12 month warranty. I will call them tomorrow to have a look. Should a call out be free? I have a feeling parts and labour are covered for 12 months - does that include a call out fee?

Great. Will log a call with them first thing tomorrow morning.

Yeah get in quick as maybe guarantee only 1 yr, but Bosh are top notch, and often give up to 5yr guarantee on some products, sometimes on both parts and labour.

check your receipt or booklet to be sure.

As a point of note, Bosch washing machines are the best that can be bought. My missus bought one when we lived in Dublin and then moved to the country. After eight and a bit years of daily use (every day), and at least once, it one day stopped -- that was it. She went to DID, bought another Bosch and all is going well. Less washing nowadays as kids have grown up and left the stable.

We bought it as a replacement for a 12 year old Bosch. Hoping it is not a portent of things to come with it!!

A 2 year guarantee is generally the norm with Bosch. When you are ringing about it have your receipt and model no plus they might look for a serial no specific to the machine.

I have had one for about 4 years now, never failed or gave any trouble. Super peice of kit. It did stop spinning last week and a quick route through the manual told me how to drain it and clear the filters….out came 1E40c from the filter and a ball of gunk. Back up and running in 10 mins. This is probably part of the regular maintenance that should be done anyway.

I have not figured out how to stop it beeping once the cycle is finished however
