Hi,
I have a GPS from Aldi. It stopped working a couple of months ago. Medion has sent me a letter and they would want me to pay for the repair cost if I accept the estimate
Their comment states:’ Defective electrical component/module (LCD section). The display of your device has been damaged by an extraneous cause (drop, pressure, or the like). Such kind of damage is not covered by our warranty. A free repair within the limits of our warranty is therefore not possible. Note: Please be advised that a broken display may also effect deeper layers behind the front panel and may not necessarily result in a breakage of glass.'
It is a touch screen GPS. When I sent to them, there was obviously something wrong with the touch screen. Albeit the screen was in perfect conditions. They have covered themselves by highlighting this in the letter.
What can I do next?
