Warranty still valid on UK import

If i was to purchase a used vehicle in UK from dealership with a 1 warranty - Does anyone know if thats still valid here or can does it cover it up North or only from the dealer purchased from?

Sine dealers may. Best thing to do is once you have the make of the car then ask a dealer if it would be honoured here.

If you havent paid for it yet shop around banks and try xe.com and currency.ie to save a few hundred euro

Toyota I know will honor the warranty throughout Europe, at least on a new car.
If its not an international dealer, I would say probably not

if it a manufactors warranty its good down here as long as u keep up the servicing. if over 3 years old most likely a warranty that the dealer bought that good down here too - but not as good a a manufactors warranty

Last weekend I brought an 06 Volvo s40 into Ireland from the UK. Cost me 15500 all inc., cars market value is over 20000. Looked up regarding the warranty on boards.ie and EU law says the warranty is valid throughout Europe and must be honoured. However a garage will have a different view if the car wasn't looked after properly I'd say.
