I know it is Christmas, season of excess and all.
Am I the only one who thinks €25 is too expensive for War of the Worlds on DVD - region 2?

NOK 149.99 = EUR 18.87 approx.

Anything cheaper than that and it has probably been produced in a barn in Co. Armagh and you can hear an audience eat popcorn ;).
 
Click on the "Play Speedy Santa" link (left side near top) on the cdwow.ie website and complete a lap to win a cdwow voucher. The vouchers are mostly 2 euro(you might be lucky and get a bigger voucher) but that will bring it down to 17.99.
 
Saw it on the plane back from the US earlier in the week. Thought it was an OK bit of fun although I got a bit bored near the end when, presumably, the tension should actually have been building. Wouldn't have watched it or bought it other than I was stuck on a plane with not much else to do.
 
Try [broken link removed] for prices. They operate from Jersey so no VAT.
Don't actually know if they deliver to Ireland but it must be worth a try.
