Wall tile colour with white oak kitchen

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if any of you have a white oak kitchen, which is really a light oak. I'm not keen on a beige / brown / orange colour as I don't want the area to look too monotonal....

The area is a large rectangular kitchen and dining space...

In our previous house we went with a blue mosaic tile and was lovely, nice contrast, there were specs of white going through it to break the "blueness"
