Waiving TFLS

Hi - looking for some advice.

many years ago I was made redundant and had the option of either waive the right to a TFLS or not. The difference at the time was less than 1k. I stupidly waived the right a very stupid decision on my part. Is there any way of reversing this error given it was less than 1k ?

Any suggestions would be most appreciated

Presumably you waived the right to a future (on retirement) lump sum from the Pension Scheme in return for a higher tax-free redundancy payment at that time.
Decision made, you cannot now reverse it.

Incorrect.

If the OP can get the relevant retirement benefits into a PRSA, the fact that he/she waived the right to the TFLS will cease to be relevant.
