Wages and UK-based euro account

I'm about to return home to Ireland for work temporarily and have a euro current account with a London based bank that I use when I'm at home on holidays. Does anyone know if Irish employers can and will pay wages into a non-Irish euro account?

I do have a savings type account in Ireland from when I was a kid but as I have financial commitments in the UK I still have to meet I would like my wages going to the UK-based account.

Grateful for any advice.

I am not sure if your employers payroll package can do cross border transfers but they can do a normal cross border payment on line and the fee is the same as a domestic transfer providing the transfer is less than 50k. You just need to provide your IBAN and SWIFT codes to your employer which is on your bank statement.

What bank in the U.K. provides euro accounts. Also can one walk into the branch and deposit euros in cash?
