Just wondering does anyone have one that they have bought in the last year or so.
I got a brand new one last year (2005) and I'm not really to over the moon with it.
It is not very smooth, well it was at the very beginning but after a few months it got very rattly and bumpy. The brakes grind and squeak, have gotten them checked a few times because I was worried about them and the mechanic said they are fine (thats just the noise they make luv) were his exact words.
I had a brand new Peugot 206lx before that and I found the "newness" of the car stayed with it for longer.
I'm thinking now I should have paid the extra few bob for a golf, but I thought all VW were a popular, reliable brand.
