VRT estimated costs on second hand cars changes

Hi All...
Im thinking of purchasing a car from the north. Does anyone know when do the VRT prices change in the estimated value of the car:confused:? i.e the 20% added on to estimated value. I would of taught it would have been the 1st January. Thanks
 
they can change daily, if you go to the ros site and use the calculator it will show you the amount you may have to pay.

It will change on first Jan 2009. For example a 2003 cars' vrt in january 2009 would be the same as a 2002 car of the same model now.
