I think huge congratulations should go to the organisers of the Volvo Ocean Race stopover in Galway. It was an unbelieveable 2 weeks in Galway. Bigger and better than Race week and very entertaining and most of it completely free. It was also a very family friendly event. The crews were raving about the reception they got right from the start - it did help that they arrived at 3am on a Saturday night just when the nightclubs were finishing!
