I'm about to start voluntary strike off of my dormant co. I have the letter from revenue and I am about to post the notice in a newspaper.
I have always traded as a sole trader under a similar name. As the company was dormant I presume I don't mention the business name in the ad ?
secondly I understand the CRO will write out twice to confirm you still want to proceed with strike off. Do you need to reply to these letters or are they worded that if you don't want to proceed with the strike off the get in contact. I'm worried the notices from the CRO will come while I'm away on holidays and I won't be in a position to reply
Thinking of handing it over to closedforbusiness to avoid the hassle and worry.
