Vodafone Web Text to International Numbers

I have been using the VodafoneSMS app for sending text messages and it always worked for international mobiles until last week.
When I check Vodafone website, go to send wetext section, it says that the number must be an Irish mobile.
Has something changed?
How are people sending international texts now.
Is there an alternate app?

The VodafoneSMS app works fine for Irish mobiles..

This now seems to be working on the website now. The app however is not able to send international texts, as you are sent a verification code by text before the text can be sent fron website.

how are others sending free international texts?

As someone that lives in Tenerife im glad to have this service back. It save me a lot of money
