Vodafone shares - wrong address

My husband still has a few vodafone shares. We have moved house and he did not change his address so we have not received any information about the verizon sale. Will he stilll get the money - normally get a couple of wuro into the bank account or how can we check this. Needless to say i cannot find anything with the number on it.

Partnership how did you get on. I am in same position. Have turned house upside down for anything related to my shares but can't find anything. Is there a problem if you dont have reference numbers?
